Conquerors Church · What We Believe
One God
We believe in one eternal God-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-equal in power and glory, Creator and Sustainer of all things.
Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Genesis 1:1.
God the Father
Our heavenly Father is holy, wise, powerful, and merciful. He cares for us, hears our prayers, and welcomes us through Jesus Christ.
Matthew 6:9; Psalm 103:8-13; John 14:6.
Jesus Christ, God the Son
Jesus is fully God and fully human. Born of the Virgin Mary, He lived without sin, died for our sins, rose bodily, and ascended to heaven, where He intercedes for us.
John 1:1, 14; Matthew 1:18-25; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 7:25.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit lives in every believer, gives new life, leads us into holiness, and empowers us to serve. His biblical gifts remain active and are practiced in love and according to Scripture.
John 14:16-17; Titus 3:5; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12-14.
The Bible
The Bible is God's inspired Word, without error in its original writings, and our final authority for faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21.
People and Our Need for God
Every person bears God's image and has value and dignity. We have all sinned and need forgiveness and new life through Jesus.
Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23.
Salvation
Salvation is God's gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus-not earned by works. He forgives us, makes us new, and welcomes us into God's family.
John 1:12; Acts 3:19; Ephesians 2:8-10.
The Church
The Church is Christ's body, with Jesus as its Head. Together, we worship, pray, learn God's Word, grow as disciples, share the gospel, and serve others.
Ephesians 1:22-23; Acts 2:42; Matthew 28:19-20.
Baptism and Communion
Water baptism publicly expresses our faith and new life in Jesus. Communion reminds us of His sacrifice.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Luke 22:19-20.
Marriage
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman before God, built on love and faithfulness.
Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:25.
